Keeping In Touch (KIT)
This proposal is to support the most vulnerable members of our community who are socially isolated. It will also bring communities together as we will be supporting the most vulnerable who are socially excluded through the effects of Covid. Through the provision of digital tablets, we will initially train up members of the community and equip them with the skills to utilise technology to communicate with the outside world. This will open up new horizons for these individuals as they will be able to communicate and engage with their families, friends and wider communities
The benefits will not only be Covid related but also to address mental health issues which are prevalent within the community as a result of self isolation and social exclusion.
